Summary

We are searching for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Executive! You will be part of the Japan sales team, providing support in handling all Trade related sales matters and enhancing our Trade Partners' experience in Japan market. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across Scoot Commercial teams, as well as, external Trade Partners to ensure smooth sales activities across all point-of-sales that are in alignment with Scoot's policies.Job Description

This role is responsible for supporting the operations for Japan Sales team based in Toyko, Japan.


Responsibilities

  • Working with HQ sales team, Sales Operations Team (SOT) and Japan team to drive Point-of Sales (POS) Japan sales volume/revenue 
  • Build and manage good business relationship with external business partners to maximize POS Japan sales
  • Supporting team managers in streamlining standard handling processes, in alignment with Scoot’s policies and requirements
  • Provide effective Trade communication to build awareness, maintain engagement and preserve loyalty
  • Support commercial activities in Japan market

Requirements

  • Diploma/ Degree of any discipline
  • Relevant Sales/Commercial experience
  • Willingness and enthusiasm in learning
  • Ability to cope with fast-paced working environment, remain calm and clear headed in times of crisis to support sales operations
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and without complete information
  • Self-starter, excellent communicator and strong team player
  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role
  • Effective, clear, and concise communication skills, verbal and written in English
  • Ability to manage variety of time-sensitive tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize while meeting deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Background/knowledge in aviation, travel-related industries are preferred
  • Experience with GDS(Amadeus/INFINI) would be an advantage
